I enjoy participating in the painting challenges that others put out there.  This painting is done for two of those challenges combined.  The first one is for the the Virtual Paint Out blog. Their area of concentration this month is Alaska.  The other one is for the Daily Paintworks “Rectangle Challenge” where you build up the painting by laying down rectangles.  Give it a try … it’s fun.

  1. I knew you would do this challenge! Great interpretation of those guidelines-this one is graphic looking and I like the colors too:)

  2. I like this. It reminds me of Cézanne’s paintings of Mont Sainte-Victoire with a bit of graphic flair.
