“Decisions, Decisions” © Carolee Clark
acrylic on canvas
28″ x 22″ $575
This painting can now be viewed for the month of February 2009, at New Morning Bakery on 2nd Street in Corvallis, Oregon. I would suggest their lemon wheat scones for a morning breakfast treat. However, as the title of the painting might suggest, there are so many wonderful breakfast options, salads, lunches and desserts that the decision will not be easy!

This is the portrait done of me, by Dean Haven. He is a very kind man, taking artistic license and making me look very pretty. He is a wonderful artist. Please check out his blog.

“Good Humor”
by Carolee Clark
watercolor collage
15″ x 11″ $600
The Different Strokes challenge this time was an interesting one. It was a anonymous portrait swap. I was pleased to see the photograph of the gentleman artist that I received. He looks like a nice man with good humor.
This painting is a collage of watercolor pieces (from old watercolor paintings). They are cut and pieced together to fit like a puzzle. It has been two years since I did one of my collages, and every time I start one of them I get one quarter of the way through it and regret my decision. I love how they turn out, but they are so time consuming and they end up killing my neck because I have to work on them flat.
If you click on the image you will go to a larger version, and even a detail of the painting.
